“ The human mirror” is part of the Official Section of the 12th edition of ImagéSanté Festival Festival International du Film de Santé, festival held in Liège, Belgium from 14 to March 19 in Cinéma Sauvenière (Les Grignoux).
 

ImagéSanté Festival is a programme of 11 documentary films from around the world, selected for their quality, their engagement and an approach that offers a distinct viewpoint at the junction of cinema, science and health.
 
During 5 days, the city centre of Liege will host various works that raise awareness around key issues of health and well-being.
 
ImagéSanté Campus promotes a popularisation of healthcare-related themes via the projection of documentaries in the theatres of the CHU, but also by offering workshops and conferences focussed on subjects of current interest.
 
The high point of these is without doubt the series of live retransmissions of actual operations commented on by the surgeon performing them. The aim of these is to demystify, share and communicate the act of surgery to the public it concerns.
 
C’est pourquoi, ImagéSanté a comme objectif principal la promotion et la sensibilisation à la santé, concrétisé sous la forme d’un Festival du Film Documentaire, d’ateliers et de conférences.
 
ImagéSanté veut aussi, par des retransmissions d’interventions chirurgicales en direct, dédramatiser auprès du grand public certains actes chirurgicaux. Par ces deux aspects fondamentaux de sa programmation, le Festival du Film et les Retransmissions, ImagéSanté est devenu un évènement essentiel qui offre un regard croisé entre le cinéma, la science et la santé.
