“La condena” forma parte de la Sección Oficial de la sexta edición del festival Ammar Popular Film Festival, festival centrado en la paz, la justicia y los derechos humanos que se lleva a cabo en enero en Tehran.
 

We are honored to announce that the sixth Ammar Popular Film Festival (APFF) will be held in Tehran from January 1st to 8th, 2016. APFF is held in cooperation with the Office of Islamic Republic Cultural Front Studies and in addressing cultural, social, economic, environmental, and political areas, has focused on the issues that threaten peace, freedom and justice in human society. Representing neglected opportunities and potentials, and providing positive, healthy and successful role models in the world are APFF’s main missions.
 
TEHRAN (APFF) — The number of films submitted to the 6th Ammar Popular Film Festival (APFF) multiplied in comparison with the festival’s previous edition prompting its organizers to extend the deadline for submission of international works.
 
So far, as many as 3,000 works by foreign participants and 1,500 works by Iranian filmmakers have been submitted to APFF, almost two times the previous edition’s submissions.
Given the large number of submissions, the 6th APFF’s international section is being held independently of its Iran section so the works can be better screened by the panel of judges for the festival. Accordingly, APFF secretariat has extended deadline for submission of international works to April 1, 2016. The date of holding the international section is yet to be announced.
