“El espejo humano” forma parte de la Sección Oficial de la 12th Film Festival Integration You and Me que se celebra del 8 al 12 de Noviembre en Polonia. La proyección tendrá lugar el viernes 11 de Septiembre a las 11h en Koszalin. Es un honor formar parte de un festival que gira en torno a la discapacidad y la integración proyectando su selección en varias localizaciones de Polonia y Europa, asi como en el Parlamento Europeo.

The European Film Festival ‘Integration You and Me’. Through this decade it managed to pave the way for the subject of disability in the media, culture, social space. Not only in Koszalin, but also in Poland and Europe, being the inspiration for dozens of entities organizing Small Festivals “You and Me” in thirty towns parallel to the main edition. Once intimate and modest, today the festival is a widespread modern event. We have loyal viewers, supporters and friends in Poland and abroad. We work with foundations, associations, organizations for integration and people with disabilities.
The value of the festival and its potential we could present to the European Parliament and in London, where we visited. We integrate through art: primarily film art, although in consecutive festival programs there are also other like: music, theater, visual arts, and in recent years also performances and happenings. We present artists with disabilities, their achievements, successes and talents.

Several dozen films from all over the world will be competing in 12th EFF Integration You and Me contest. We won’t disclose the titles yet but for sure there will be films from the USA, the Lebanon and for the first time from Turkey and China. Of course there will also be films from Poland. We are very satisfied that every year we receive more and more applications.

The choice is not easy as we would like to show films from different parts of the world as well as the ones which include moving, interesting and original motives concerning disability. We would like to remind here that the jury will award films in three categories: feature film, documentary film and amateur film (made by the disabled) category. We will soon announce a list of the films which have been qualified to the contest.

In 2014 we’re in 44 locations across Poland. Cinemas in 15 larger cities, as well as 29 of the Small Festivals “You and Me” located in smaller towns and villages (), are bringing the festivals idea to everyone interested in it, without the need of traveling to Koszalin (), the home town of the European Film Festival Integration You and Me. We were present also in Europe (violet) - European Parliament in Brussels (Belgium), Bursa (Turkey), Palermo (Italy), Alba Iulia (Romania) and London (United Kingdom of Great Britain).

Basado en una historia real. Una joven de 17 años con problemas de sociabilidad vive sin apenas contacto con el exterior, encerrada en casa contempla cada día las crueldades anunciadas en las noticias y su mente se va acercando cada vez más a la peligrosa forma de ser de la sociedad.
