“El espejo humano” forma parte de los Finalistas de la segunda edición del festival ProFiRe Short Film Festival, festival que se llevó a cabo en el 2014 en Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Varios días de programación en los que se proyectarón cortometrajes de 15 paises diferentes.
 

Short films in different languages are desirable. The Poetic Short films are real art. Short films with no sound are brilliant. We love it all. Let’s spread words, moving images and sounds all around the world. This is a starting point. In Leith. In Scotland.
 
ProFiRe Short Film Festival is the film festival that promotes films from all around a globe. This is a second year of the competition and we are expecting to be at least great as the last year. In small words explained previous year was fantastic, productive, surprising and so open with variety of films we received. This year we are presenting short films under 16 min with tendency to make it even bigger and longer festival.
 
ProFiRe Short Film Festival has a purpose to celebrate film work from filmmakers all around the globe and to share as much as possible ideas, knowledge, joy and hard work of film making.
 
In 2012 first ProFiRe SFF was open as a part of Mitrovic Family Festival. Even we had only one day for screening films on a big screen, we were satisfied with number of films that arrived for the festival. there were films from all continents, more then 15 countries. Audience was happy with quality and quantity of films. 2014 will be 3. year where we are looking for more films and more venues to show films. Last year we were showing 113 films all over the world.

Basado en una historia real. Una joven de 17 años con problemas de sociabilidad vive sin apenas contacto con el exterior, encerrada en casa contempla cada día las crueldades anunciadas en las noticias y su mente se va acercando cada vez más a la peligrosa forma de ser de la sociedad.
